1.Terms and conditions
When booking your holiday home, you agree to Q Home’s  General terms and conditions. They contain all contract conditions associated with your booking. Here you will also find the cancellation policy, which applies to your contract. We ask you kindly to read the general terms and conditions carefully. Any information relating specifically to the rented property will be given to you on arrival.

2.The booking process
The Booking process involves a number of consecutive steps:
a. Select the house you would like and the rental period;
b. Press the ‘book’ button;
c. Enter your personal information and press ‘check inquiry’;
d. If the information is correct then ‘agree to terms’ and press ‘confirm booking’;
e. You will automatically receive a confirmation e-mail;
f. Q Home checks all applications to make sure there are no other simultaneous bookings, before sending the confirmation email – bookings can come in via several channels;
g. You will then receive an e-mail with the contract and payment details;
h. Once you have returned this agreement the booking is finalised.

3. Payment of the rental fee and deadlines
When you have booked your holiday rental, you get a copy of the contract with an overview of the costs associated with the reservation. After you have submitted your booking request, you will receive the contract, where you can see the specification of the costs and the payment deadline(s). The payment is asked for in two instalments. The first payment is a deposit of 25% of the total within one week of booking. The final 75% is payable at the latest 2 months before arrival. For bookings made less than 8 weeks before the arrival date, the full rental fee is requested at the time of booking.On all bookings of Q Home a one-time booking fee is applicable, of 30 Euros per booking.

4. Refund of deposit
The deposit is paid, in most cases with the rent within the above deadlines. The deposit will be returned after a satisfactory final inspection by Q Home at departure, within 10 days after the end of the rental.

With rental of some houses, however, the deposit is paid directly to the owner/ manager at arrival. In this case you get the deposit returned at departure after inspection by the owner / manager.

5. Quality of the Q Home holiday rentals
Q Home operates locally. That is why we have an extensive knowledge of all our properties. This gives us more control and reassurance about the quality of the holiday homes that we have in our portefolio. We always have a Q Home contact person nearby that you can contact with any questions or comments. Our holiday homes are inspected carefully to ensure that the high quality, we expect is met.

6. Cancellation Policy
What happens if you have to cancel your holiday? You should contact Q Home as soon as possible to allow us to cancel the contract (see terms and conditions). In case of a cancellation, you can recover any rents paid less a deduction, which corresponds to the number of weeks before the booked arrival date. The percentages deducted from refunds are as follows:

– cancellation  more than 8 weeks before arrival 25% of the total rental price
– cancellation 8 weeks and less before date of arrival, 100% of the total rental price

7. Cancellation of any travel insurance
Q Home currently has no cancellation travel insurance and we advise you, if in doubt, to ask your current insurance company, if your holiday is covered for cancellation. Alternatively, you can ask for a supplementary cover or look on the Internet for different suppliers..

8. What is standard in our holiday house and what do you have to bring yourself?

Before we accept a holiday house for rental, we thoroughly check the inventory to make sure that the facilities are adequate for the maximum number of persons accepted for rentals. This means that a holiday home for example 10 people will have an inventory that will serve 10 people comfortably. We try and make sure that a baby cot and a highchair are provided – at least one of each in every house.

If there are things that are very important for your stay, please don’t hesitate to ask the Q Home partner responsible for the property. We will always do our best to accommodate your wishes. If you make a booking request through our website please leave us a comment with the booking for any special requests.

Note: Kitchen towels and beach / pool towels are not included. Bed linen and bath towels are excluded in most houses and but can be supplied with a fee on request. Please look under each house for further information.

Q Home close the contract with the tenant acting as an agent on behalf of the owner, for the renting of his property situated in France (see General Terms and conditions)
