INTERIOR
A large wooden door gives you access to this beautiful holiday residence. In the spacious large hall you will find a toilet and the stately wide staircase to the upper floors. Through the “playroom” for the children and love seat with a round table you enter the living room with a spacious comfortable couch, flat screen TV and doors to the terrace and garden. In the living room there is also a beautiful robust wooden dining table where you can relax with the whole group.
Next to the dining table is the passage to the kitchen, which is equipped with all desirable comfort. There is a large American fridge with freezer compartment, a separate wine fridge, an induction hob, separate oven, microwave, dishwasher, blender, kettle, Dolce Gusto coffee maker, Espresso and a toaster. Through the French doors you can go to the adjacent terrace or the garden. Next to the kitchen is a room where a cosy corner has been created by the fire place. A wonderful place to have a after dinner drink.
On the first floor there are 4 bedrooms, 3 which have an ‘en suite’ bathroom. The master bedroom overlooking the hills of Bagnols-en-Forêt has a double bed (200*180), a large bathroom with bath, double sink, walk-in shower and toilet. Ensuite a dressing room. The other large room has a baby bed, chest of drawers and a double bed (200*160), a spacious bathroom with a sink, bath and toilet. The third bedroom has two single beds (200*90*2), a desk, ensuite a bathroom with bath, sink and toilet.
The fourth room has a double bed and a tipi tent, ideal children room.
On the second floor are two more bedrooms that share a bathroom. This bathroom has a bath, sink and toilet. Bedroom 5 is a large spacious room with 4 single beds, ideal for the children. Bedroom 6 has a double bed with electric adaptable mattress (200*80*2). All rooms have sufficient closet space and very good quality mattresses.
* Floor cooling: This system will lower the temperature in the house slightly. This is done by means of a pipe system in the floor construction. In most cases the temperature is a few degrees lower than room temperature. To prevent condensation on or in the floor, the water temperature in the pipes must not be lower than 18 degrees. This system is indirect and does not have the same effect as air conditioning.
EXTERIOR
Through a large entrance gate, you reach Bastide la Cléola via the driveway, through the olive grove. The ‘en pierre’ Bastide has been completely renovated in authentic style and is decorated very tastefully. The spacious Bastide with a living area of more than 450 m2, has a well-kept garden of more than 10.000 m2. You will find many fruit trees, cypresses, olive trees, oleanders and a nice lawn where the children can play. For them there is a trampoline, children cabin with slide, swing and basketball net. Another big swing and a cable line (up to max. 60 kg) to play with.
Bastide la Cléola has a beautiful view over the slightly lowered heated swimming pool and the hills of Bagnols-en-Forêt. The heated swimming pool is 14 by 8 meters and has a walk-in staircase to a depth of up to 1.80 meters. There are 14 comfortable sun loungers (single and double ones) around the pool for relaxing hours and lounge area.
Next to the kitchen is a spacious terrace with a large round dining table, another big dining table and a nice seating area to enjoy the view with a glass of local rosé. There is a gas BBQ and annex outside kitchen for preparing your culinary delights. There is also a slightly lower terrace with a comfortable lounge set and rocking chair.
Bagnols-en-Forêt, is a charming village only 18 km from the coastal town of Fréjus. In Bagnols-en-Forêt, 1,5 km from the Bastide, you can get your daily fresh croissants and groceries.
This beautiful rural location is suitable for large groups of up to 14 people. There is a lot of space and privacy around the Bastide.
There are 3 covered parking spaces and enough space for several cars in the parking lot.
